Joana Carvalho is a Research Assistant at the United Nations University Operating Unit on Policy-Driven Electronic Government, and an Invited Assistant Professor at the Department of Information Systems of the University of Minho. She is pursuing a PhD in Information Systems and Technology, and holds a Master’s degree in Engineering and Management of Information Systems, both from the University of Minho. Her main research interests are on measuring and monitoring EGOV, and the application of EGOV initiatives to promote social well-being.
